Plymouth South fans have a lot to be thankful for after a come from behind victory over Plymouth North at Fenway Park.
Plymouth South trailed 14-6 at halftime, but were led by a senior core determined to hoist the trophy one more time. For the second year in a row, the Battle of the Rock trophy belongs to Plymouth South.
After stopping Plymouth North on their first possession of the second half, Plymouth South drove down the field and scored off a run by senior quarterback Tim Durocher, who then caught the tying two-point conversion to make the score 14-14.

On a fourth quarter drive, Durocher punched it in again from 15 yards out and the Panthers took a 21-14 lead.
Moments later, things looked bad for South after a 78 yard run by North running back Gio Lynch-Ruberio tied the game up at 21-21.
North threatened at the end of the fourth quarter but ran out of time near the South 27 yard line.

After South elected to receive the ball first in overtime, Durocher ran it in from six yards out to make it 27-21 after a two point conversion was broken up in the corner of the endzone.
Things we’re looking grim for the Panthers on the first play of North’s possession in overtime when Lynch-Ruberio ran the ball in for a ten yard touchdown, but a costly offensive holding penalty pushed North back to the 20 yard line.
After a one yard gain on the replayed first down, three South defensive breakups helped to secure a win in Fenway Park that South fans will never forget.
