PSHS theatre guild will be presenting the Shakespearean play Macbeth, on November 13-15th in the black box theatre at 7pm. The tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students, and are now on sale. Here are some things to know about the play as the show heads closer!
Macbeth is a tragic play written by Shakespeare originally published in 1623. It follows a Scottish general who was prophesized by 3 witches to murder the king and take over the throne. His wife Lady Macbeth spurs him on and he slowly goes into paranoia and a tyrannical mindset that ultimately leads to his downfall.
The guilds representation of this play will be different than most and will be directed by Mr. Jason Luciana and Co-directed by Ms. Colleen Egan. There are 16 students in the cast and they all can’t wait to put on this show for the school!

Director Mr. Luciana promises audiences that, “this is a version of Macbeth that I can promise folks have never seen!”
Please come support the Plymouth South theatre guild on the nights of the show and get ready for an action packed night of drama, romance, and chaos!
